I'll miss Dave Culross too.
But Gus is THE MAN for the job.
He has already recorded tracks with Malevolent in the past (on the Fine Art of Murder album if I remember well, maybe even one or two on the Envenomed CD) and his playing is always flawless and tasteful.

Just saw them at Central IL Metalfest a few days ago - Gus is awesomw.
My only gripe? It sounds like he replaced some of the Marquez-era bounce blasts with Lombardo beats. It's a nitpick, and, although it fit, it disappointed me. The Culross material, however, he NAILED. |
